When developing more complex games it can sometimes be of benefit to create your own Unity editor components to help repeat repetitive tasks or help with other aspects of the visualisation or setup. On this page we provide a short summary of the components and features available.
EditorHelper contains various helper functions for dealing with editor windows, inspectors etc…
PlayerSettingsHelper contains functions for working with the Unity player and build settings.
ConditionalHidePropertyDrawer gives you a quick and simple way of hiding fields in an editor window based upon the value of a separate boolean field. The behavior of this is controlled by placing the attribute ConditionalHideAttribute on the property in question.
HelpBoxDecoratorDrawer gives you a quick and simple way of showing a help box in an editor window with text and an icon. The behavior of this is controlled by placing the attribute HelpBoxAttribute on the property in question.
